What will be this year’s summer ice cream? What should you listen to? And how do you manage to stay relevant in a fashion industry that’s constantly shifting gears?

In this first episode of CIFF x Euroman ‘Arbejdstitel’ Oliver Enné and Kristoffer Dahy Ernst have once again traveled to the fashion fair in Florence, and in the beautiful, scorching hot, and heavily touristy city, the two hosts have gathered prominent guests.

One of the episode’s three guests is none other than Nick Wooster. Other guests on the show include Frederik Berner Kühl, who has lived in Florence and since started his own brand, as well as Jonas Bach, commercial director at NN.07, who shares with listeners what it means to build global brands and create a healthy business along the way.

With years of experience from the industry Mike Bjørnbak and Line Jakobsen from the Danish department store Magasin shares what it means to work as a fashion buyer all year and during fashion week – tips including everything from ginger shots to excellent calendar skills.

We had the pleasure of having Nina Wedell-Wedellsborg in the studio who is the initiator of the Wessel & Vett Fashion Prize – Scandinavia’s most prestigious fashion design award, founded by the Wessel & Vett Foundation in 2012 to embody its core values of entrepreneurship, creativity, and good business acumen.

This Prize underscores the Foundation’s dedication to nurturing Danish design talent, while honoring the legacy of Magasin as a historic fashion institution.

Through the years the winners include Cecilie Bahnsen, Emilie Helmstedt, STEM, and Tonsure.

How do you transform 46.000 square meters into a vibrant city guiding visitors through all the brands of CIFF? 

Darling Creative Studio knows – a Copenhagen based creative boutique agency focusing on fashion, design, art and much more. The way they work with fashion is by staging it – and this is exactly what they do season after season at CIFF. 

We had the pleasure of having Uffe Buchard, Partner and Creative Director, in the studio who alongside Jens Løkke, Partner and Managing Director, have been doing the visual identity and creative direction for the past three seasons. And our upcoming edition in August is no exception – this season they are taking everyone for a walk in the park.

Kayla Curtis, Creative Editor at Hypebeast, focuses on client and brand-facing work, making CIFF a must for her during Copenhagen Fashion Week. With a strong appreciation for Scandinavian design, she’s drawn to the way Scandinavians blends function with personal flair and playful details.

To Kayla, CIFF offers the ideal setting to discover new brands and connect with products on a deeper level – an essential part of her role in shaping creative narratives for Hypebeast.

Ana Escalante is one of the people we love seeing returning each season at CIFF. As an Associate Features Editor at Who What Wear her work evolves around digging into online trends and figuring out the why behind what people are wearing.

This is exactly what she does when walking the halls of CIFF and the streets of Copenhagen where she finds herself drawn to the conversations about buying strategies and the way Scandinavians creates a unique, personal aesthetic.

In March the Danish brand Mos Mosh celebrated their 15-year anniversary. And they had a lot to celebrate; 2,500 retailers across Europe, a successful webshop and last year they opened their very first store in Copenhagen – since then they have expanded with stores in Hamburg and Amsterdam.

We welcomed Tatiana Christensen, Head of Marketing, to the studio who let us in on how Mos Mosh was created with inspiration from the big American denim brands’ fits and the details in the Italian designs – combining this became the cornerstone of Mos Mosh. Today their collections have offer more than just jeans, but the original details are still a central part of the collections across all categories.

World’s smallest company, with the biggest ambitions. This is how Creative Director and Head Designer Birgitte Herskind describes the Danish brand Herskind. Since 2018 they have been a visible player in the fashion landscape – also on the floor during CIFF as one of many returning heroes we welcome season after season. And from their very first time attending they had some of the best retailers making orders at their stand.

Biking through Copenhagen on her way to the office in the inner city; this is where Maria-Louise Sørensen, Head of Design at Heartmade, finds her inspiration for the refined, minimalistic styles of the Danish brand mixing bohemian with Scandinavian minimalism. At CIFF 64, Heartmade presented both their SS25 and AW25 collection. Displaying a harmonious play of colors featuring classic hues with a twist – same goes for the fits and styles where there’s a focus on functionality.
