According to BI: At 65%, personal-safety concerns peaked in BI's US travel survey conducted April 17-28 amid the Middle East conflict, US policies towards visas and other geopolitical tensions. This may be affecting how much people travel internationally, as seen in a decline in respondents from the survey conducted in November.
