Dan discusses the third cardinal virtue in Greek Philosophy, Andreia, or courage. Courage is not just what we see on the battlefield; it’s best exemplified in the daily choices we make.

In this episode, Dan continues the Cardinal Virtue series that began with Phronesis with the concept of Dikaiosyne, or justice, the virtue that holds the rest together. The root word means something like “the right order of things”, which connects to our discussions on Logos as well.

Dan interviews Dan Rickert COO of ASI, who talks about the need for modern software in critical industry.

In this episode, Dan discusses the contribution of the Scottish Enlightenment’s scholarship and the Scotch-Irish attitude, which were fundamental parts of the creation of America, and how we can save our country by following their lead.

In this episode, Dan breaks down how Jesus of Nazareth is the ultimate example of perfect alignment with natural law, both spiritually and philosophically, by drawing on the writings of John and the Ancient Greeks.

In Part 2 of A Tale of Two Speeches, Dan discusses the 2nd Inaugural Address of Abraham Lincoln, widely-regarded as one of the best speeches in Western history and a perfect example of the Rhetorical Triangle used appropriately.
