The launch will take place on Friday, December 6th at the Lakeside Hotel in Killaloe.

Former Clare hurler Tony Griffin will be back in his home county next week.

The 2006 All-Star will be appearing in The Ennis Bookshop on Friday, December 6th, to give a talk and sign copies of his republished autobiography, Screaming at the Sky.

Clare Local Area Network (CLAN) is hosting an event in Ennis, in conjunction with the International 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence.

It will be held at Buttermarket House, Drumbiggle, on Friday, the 6th of December.

This year, CLAN is launching a unique domestic abuse website for practitioners in County Clare.

Querrin Schoolhouse will host the fundraiser, which is aimed at putting money towards hosting well-being workshops in memory of local lad Jonathan Clancy and the schoolhouse renovation project.

The event will feature a festive carol performance by Ceol Sionna, a special visit from Mrs. Claus, a delightful bake sale, a raffle, and a Christmas Lights Tractor Run, in memory of Jonathan Clancy.

A member of the Truagh-Clonlara backroom team claims the experience the team gained over the last month was what spurred them into the All Ireland club camogie final.

The south-east Clare side booked their spot in the decider after a two point win over St.Vincent's of Dublin in Walsh Park yesterday.
