Familiarity was the theme on this miserable Monday morning. Once again, a team wearing Claret and Blue came to Old Trafford, and once again they pulled off a smash-and-grab. This time it was Aston Villa heading back to Brum with three Premier League points.

The next visitors will be Villareal, no strangers themselves. They specialise in draws, with five of their six La Liga fixtures (and the European Super Cup) ending all square. A draw is no good for United, though, so they'll have to outdo Chelsea and both Madrid clubs by sinking the Yellow Submarine.
