Classic Metal Show

You won’t believe how bad modern journalism has become! The hosts read a headline about a Texas woman running over a man on a first date with her Porsche and blaming “expensive designer heels”. But as they dig into the real story, they discover the headline is completely wrong and the reality is a shocking tale of a wealthy socialite, a $3,000 heel, a 0.3 BAC, and a tragic death that involves cocaine and a high-speed joyride.

The final segment covers the ridiculous things married men report doing when their wives and kids are out of the house, like fluffing decorative pillows or desperately wanting to clean the house. Chris and Neeley mock the pathetic state of these “wholesome” men, arguing that any honest man is only watching porn and drinking when alone. They also break down a People Magazine story about a drunk driver in a Porsche, accusing the headline of being AI-generated nonsense because it completely misrepresents the facts.

The entertainment industry is now actively trying to “fuck the customer over”! The hosts go on a powerful and detailed rant about how the concert and entertainment business has gone out of control. They reveal how ticket sellers immediately transfer “sold-out” tickets to sites like StubHub in a total scam to get around congressional oversight and charge massive resale prices. They point out that fans our age, who paid $20 for Kiss and Journey back in the day, are still bending over and taking the price gouging.

Do you still go to concerts, or have the prices completely priced you out?

Are you stupid enough to spend three grand on a concert ticket? The hosts rant about the outrageous price of Rush tickets, which are selling for an average of $3,000 for floor seats. They slam fans for fueling this broken industry by willingly using credit cards to pay off tickets for years , effectively mortgaging their life just to see an “old band”. They ask, “Where do these people get that kind of money?”.

Why would Richie Sambora ever go back to Bon Jovi? The hosts discuss Jon Bon Jovi’s highly anticipated “Forever Tour” and why his former co-pilot has absolutely no incentive to rejoin the band. With a reported net worth of $150 million , Richie is financially free from having to deal with Jon’s “asshole” ego or the demands of touring for a crowd who only want to hear slowed-down hits. Plus, they point out that replacement guitarist Phil X is technically a better player!

Neeley and Chris are talking tour finance and the return of Jon Bon Jovi after his vocal struggles. The guys slam Bon Jovi’s “cringy” public comments and Rush’s outrageous ticket prices , saying fans are dumb for paying them. They also scratch their heads about the ultimate goal of the band Once Bitten and give a brief review of their debut single. Chris also reveals he’s going to a New Edition show (and gets called a “faggot” in the chat room) .

Join the shock as they discuss the “rigors of touring” that finally got to Paul Burgess and discover some of the band’s other lesser-known hits.

The hosts get into a controversial discussion after the passing of rock musician Marcy/Mark Free. They critique the media for calling him a “beloved rock singer” and a “legend” given his work with King Cobra and Unruly Child wasn’t widely known, and mock the use of the singular “their” pronoun in articles about him. This no-holds-barred take will definitely start an argument about musical legacy and political correctness in the news.
