Talk about a shocker! Andrey Smirnov is out of U.D.O., and the band hasn’t said a peep about who’s coming in to fill those big guitar shoes. Is this the end of the line for their current sound, or will they find a killer replacement fast?

So, the big news just dropped: Andrey Smirnov, guitarist for U.D.O., has amicably parted ways with the band. It’s a bummer, especially since no replacement has been announced yet! This leaves a huge question mark over the band’s future sound and touring plans. We’re diving into what this split really means for Udo Dirkschneider and the guys, and of course, we’ll start a rumor mill about who we think will step up as the next shredder. The speed is there, but everything else is a trainwreck! The hosts slam the production and vocal delivery on Megadeth’s “Tipping Point,” calling the mix “flat” and “bland” and arguing it sounds like a scratch track. They compare the disappointing sound to the “face-ripping” power of Testament and claim the lack of focus “justif[ies] retiring” if this is all the band has left. Do you agree that the production killed the song?
