Lilly's mother died by suicide when she was a baby. She would eventually develop alcoholism, and now has achieved long-term recovery. Many of her powerful songs reference her sobriety. He is a well known American blues-rock guitarist, who has recorded with many of the greatest musical artists including Carlos Santana and Lauryn Hill. Gales has contributed to eighteen albums for major record labels such as MCA, Elektra, and others. Gale's addiction took him to state prison for many years, but he now lives a rewarding life in recovery. We also discuss the details of Gary's presidential pardon which he received this week.
