Karl combines +3500 hours of executive coaching with a long and extensive experience in corporate HR leadership roles for groups like AXA, British American Tobacco, Ernst & Young and Sappi Fine Paper Europe. In 2014, he decided to become independent and in 2018 Karl joined www.otolith-consulting.com as a partner.

He has a proven track record in successful executive leadership coaching, both in individual-and in team coaching. In a huge variety of industries.

Karl practices coaching as a co-creative process that brings individuals and teams to their own solutions, and that gives them the sustainable determination to act upon them. His ultimate mission is to trigger and guide leaders to personal mastery.

Besides his corporate activities, Karl is also deeply involved as a volunteer expert for the International Coaching Federation. He has been Community of Practice leader for 6 years. Also for ICF, he is a Subject Matter Expert contributing to the development of (team) coaching core competencies. He is also Credentialed Assessor of coaches seeking an ICF credential. And he is a member of the ICF Professional Coaches Nominating Committee. He moderates a fast growing Facebook group on coaching journeys.
