Coach Lance Maney is in his second season with Mid-Michigan coaching the Women’s basketball team.  Returning to the Mid-Mich basketball program after playing at Mid Michigan in 2010-2012.  Coach Maney started his coaching journey at his alma mater Shepherd High school, while finishing a Masters in Sports administration degree from Central Michigan.  After graduating he spent 4 years in South Florida coaching boys and girls varsity high school basketball at large private schools Oxbridge Academy and North Broward Prep.  He also worked to become a full time basketball coach, coaching travel teams, basketball camps and private training with Handlelife and Ball by Design.

Todd has been running the interscholastic sports programs and coaching basketball at City and Country School for about 25 years (been at the school for 28 years). C&C is the first progressive independent school in Manhattan, and goes up to 8th grade.

Todd takes a games based approach to practice with an emphasis on Small Sided Games and Skill Development to improve game performance. He also directs a 3 v 3 youth basketbal league that has many similarities to the 3 v 3 league directed by Coach Cramer. Enjoy the episode!
