Coleman Hawkins has selected his landing spot – Kansas State. It’s unlikely where he, or anyone else, thought he would wind up, but here we are. Jerome Tang’s Wildcats now have eight transfers, two incoming freshmen, and three returners – utilizing all 13 available scholarships. The frontcourt might be overloaded as Hawkins adds to a group that already included incoming transfers Ugonna Onyenso (Kentucky), Baye Fall (Arkansas), and Achor Achor (Samford). It will interesting to see how Coach Tang manages it all. How will the Wildcats fare with a loaded Big 12? It will be difficult to crack the perceived top five of Kansas, Iowa State, Arizona, Baylor, and Houston.
