Miles Kelly was HOT in the first half, accounting for 14 of Auburn’s first 21 points. Chad Baker-Mazara and Tahaad Pettiford were productive offensively as well, CBM with 16 first half points, Pettiford with 11. Kelly, Baker-Mazara, and Pettiford were responsible for 44 of Auburn’s 49 first half points. Auburn led for all but 19 seconds of the game, the Tigers largest lead was 22, (65-43) 5 minutes into the second half. With the win, Dylan Cardwell surpassed Jaylin Williams, becoming the all-time winningest player in Auburn Basketball history. News broke yesterday that Auburn and Arizona will be playing a home and home series starting in Tucson in 2025. Arizona’s date to travel to Auburn has not yet been determined.

Bruce Pearl and Nate Oats have both been very successful when evaluating transfer portal talent and bringing in guys who fit their style of play. Miles Kelly and Chris Youngblood have been two transfers (Miles Kelly to Auburn, Chris Youngblood to Alabama) that have been playing incredible basketball as of late.

Auburn, 26-2 on the season and 14-1 in SEC play, travels to Lexington this weekend to play Kentucky in Rupp Arena. The Auburn Tigers have not won inside Rupp Arena since 1988 — will this be the team that ENDS AUBURN’S Rupp Arena losing streak? Mark Sears bad BACK-TO-BACK 30+ point games, which is an incredible accomplishment by the Alabama star. Auburn returned home to Neville Arena after a hard-fought win over Alabama to host the Arkansas Razorbacks. Auburn escaped with a 67-60 win over the Razorbacks to improve their record to 24-2 on the season and 12-1 in SEC Play.

After an emotional loss to in-state rival Auburn, Alabama hit the road to play Missouri on their home court. Nate Oats emphasized the importance of getting back on track fast due to the level of competition online the conference but fell short in Columbia.
