Season Three of the BHHcast starts out with a somewhat unexpected guest.  Member of the Flock (loyal listener of the BHHcast), Mark Kulmer, joins your shepherds Jamie Bendall, Adam Haigh and Jamie Hernan to discuss an event that happened way back in 2013.  Why now?  Well, back in 2013, Mark, his wife Ali and co-host of the BHHcast Adam Haigh had an encounter with Charles Barkley, Laurence Fishburne and a mystery man in an orange suit at the Four Seasons hotel bar in Atlanta, Georgia that ended up with Mark and Chuck trading shirts.  The story went viral recently as Charles Barkley's co-hosts on NBA on TNT - Ernie Johnson, Jr., Shaquille O'Neal and Kenny Smith - brought up the story to question Barkley's sincerity when he said he didn't like the idea of swapping jerseys after a game.  @NBAonTNT tweeted about the story with a video (Link) and Mark found himself in the spotlight once again.  The full video of the guys on NBA on TNT discussing the event (on Ernie Johnson, Jr.'s Neat-O-Stat of the Night) can be found here.

But the BHHcast wants its sheep to have the whole story, including the fact that the catalyst of the whole shirt swap might not actually have been our guest Mark or Charles Barkley.  Rather, be sure to also check out Episode Two of Season Three to hear directly from Mark's wife Ali Kulmer on how the whole incident actually went down. 

Mark also talks to us about his amazing daughters, Isabella and Ava.  Isabella is an elite level ballerina - a Royal Ballet School International Scholar (Instagram).  Mark, Ali, Isabella and Ava have lived around the world as they follow opportunities for Isabella.  Your shepherds ponder whether or not Ava might actually be an international spy. Mark talks about how he and Ali strive to keep life as normal as possible for their kids as they encounter such unique experiences.  

The BHHcast reached out to representatives of Charles Barkley and Laurence Fishburne to invite them to be guests on the show to discuss the story.  The representatives of Charles Barkley initially responded but did not get back to us with a yes or no so who knows - maybe we'll have an update to this episode with an interview with Sir Charles.  Laurence Fishburne's reps gave us a hard, but polite, pass.  The man in the orange suit remains unidentified.

Episode eleven of the BHHcast has dropped with special guest Steve Mason and comedian Cory "Zooman" Miller.  On each episode of the BHHcast, the shepherds interview a special guest and a professional, stand-up comedian.  The Flock is in for a treat with episode 7.

Clearly, the shepherds will not tolerate the use of "GOAT" to describe the greatest of all time.  Not with the Sheep listening, of course.  The guys discuss how the term GOAT is misleading and needs to be replaced with GUN.  Adam's man crush on Tom Brady surfaces yet again, and we learn he has a bit of meteorologist in him.  Air guitar resurfaces to everyone's delight.  Hernan claims he is the closest to membership in the Whistling Hall of Fame, while Bendall disturbs us all with his description of Stranger Fingers, which comic guest Cory "Zooman" Miller later informs us was the original working title for Stranger Things until it was determined to be too creepy. 

Special guest Steve Mason, under the disguise of ordinary, has developed the formula to solve all of the world's problems, yet the shepherds decided not to reveal those answers in front of the pay wall and the Flock is angry.  But despite not revealing the secret formula to life, Steve does share his amazing tale of the pursuit of being the perfect gentleman. Nothing short of international fame for Steve will do, and it's hard to argue with his extensive travel and adventures that he is not destined for just that. 

Comedian Cory "Zooman" Miller (Instagram | Twitter) joins the Flock in this episode with cautious optimism for 2021.  Through his voice, the BHHcast is also visited by Barack Obama, Martin Luther King, Jr., Desmond Tutu, Redd Foxx and more.  Sure, Steve Mason has the formula to solve all of the world's problems, but the guys hit even deeper topics with Cory such as are songs ruined if they reference a particular year, can a man be proud of an acoustic whistle (the answer is yes), and did Bendall and Cory almost cross paths on the New Jersey breakdancing scene way back when. We learn that Cory's guiding principle is to help people, and the Sheep should help themselves to this episode for auditory nourishment.

The Sheep have been jumping up and down for the next episode of the BHHcast, hosted by your shepherds Jamie Bendall, Adam Haigh and Jamie Hernan, and here it is.  On each episode of the BHHcast, the shepherds interview a special guest and a professional, stand-up comedian.

In the intro to this episode, your shepherds discuss such hip and modern topics as Bendall's infatuation with actress Erin Gray, star of Buck Rogers and the television hit Silver Spoons.  The guys talk about whether they have envisioned their wives with old lady hair, and their own aging process.  The highlight is the discussion of Adam's "Seaman's" cough. 

Special guest Jake Cook (YouTube | Facebook | Linked In) is welcomed to the BHHcast.  You have no doubt heard Jake on radio, seen his videos on YouTube and Facebook and heard his parody songs.  Somehow in one interview, the guys discuss Scientology, Rush Limbaugh, Marc Stein, Ben Shapiro, Adam Corolla, Howard Stern, K-Rock, Mike Huckabee, Geraldo Rivera, Ivanka Trump, Jared Kushner, and Don Jr. without really talking politics.  A bit of Jeopardy talk about the passing of Alex Trebek and the introduction of Ken Jennings as the new host is thrown in before the shepherds even get to the Meat and Threes (TM) question.  Is Brunswick Stew and extra meat?  Is Chicken Fried Chicken redundant?  Will the BHHcast find a local BBQ joint to sponsor the show? Will there be any more name dropping in this description for the purpose of SEO?  Tune in to find out.

Comedian Taylor Williamson (Website | Podcast | Twitter)  joins the BHHcast in this episode.  A runner up on Season 8 of America's Got Talent, Taylor is well known for his hilarious comedy and his flirtatious relationship with Heidi Klum.  The guys discuss Taylor's Wikipedia page (Link) and may even be responsible for its most recent edits.  We find out that Taylor talks with his cousins a lot.  And, despite what you may have heard, Taylor was not about to quit comedy right before landing the gig on America's Got Talent. The shepherds try to talk Taylor into becoming a demagogue, mainly for the cool business card that goes along with the title.  Taylor is the first guest on the BHHcast to identify his abs as one of his "Threes" in response to the Meat and Three (TM) question, and we learn about kind abs.  Has Taylor ever been carjacked?  We find out that answer is probably.   Don't miss this interview.

Prior to welcoming our special guest and stand up comedian, the shepherds provide some life advice to those of you that think it is a good idea to bring your guitar to a party.  Some love is given to ukelele guy and ironic banjo guy, while the guys point out the smooth moves involved in pulling out an air guitar bandelero style. 

On this episode, our special guest is sportscaster Mitch Evans, a legend in the Atlanta sports world even though he grew up hoping to play center field for the New York Yankees.  Mitch has been a show host, play by play announcer, beat reporter and writer.  He is currently a news and sports anchor for iHeart Media.  Fans of the Atlanta Braves, Atlanta Thrashers and other Atlanta area sports teams will welcome the chance to hear Mitch's familiar voice. 

Our comedian guest is Claude Shires, a stand up comedian and the CEO of Laugh Lounge, a relatively new streaming service that provides access to live stand up comedy performances and recorded shows on demand.  The LaughLounge app is available in many formats including through the App Store (Link).

It's the Roommates episode the Sheep have been waiting for.  The BHHcast welcomes Special Guest Tommy Blaze and Comedian Costaki Economopoulous.

Professor Adam initiates a lesson on roommate economics, telling about his dumb roommates (his words - our apologies) and their auction for rooms whenever they moved into a house.  More gym talk from Bendall.  Ugh.  Really.  Ugh. 

Special guest Tommy Blaze, writer and producer, tells the guys how many naked showgirls in your dressing room is too many naked showgirls in your dressing room.  The Sheep will likely disagree with his answer.  A producer for Pure Flix, who brought the world God's Not Dead, Tommy is currently making the movie Banking on Christmas, which will be released soon.  

The Flock is joined by comedian Costaki Economopoulous, proprietor of @AllProLines, where pro football and pro comedians collide. Futons are heavily disparaged, and Bendall fights to defend the honor of pull out sofas. This, of course, leads to a ranking of bed styles that Bendall bungles horribly (bare floor over air mattress?).  Costaki and Bendall reminisce about the good 'ole times without Costaki even realizing that he and Hernan were compatriots as members of the University of Georgia's comedy club even before he met Bendall.  Hernan's tears flowed after the episode.  But, he was a bit happier when he remembered how much the guys discussed Scandinavia.  Costaki tells about his pet, Peeve, in the Broken Bits (TM) segment, but the interview grinds to a halt because Adam insists on naming an imaginary dog Charlie.

Season One of the BHHcast closes out with a visit from John Bennett and comedian K Douglas.  The BHHcast is heading out to pasture, but fear not it is just until the beginning of Season Two (which will happen before you can count ten sheep over the fence). 

Would you play a $1,000 lottery scratch ticket? And what is the proper way to refer to a "scratchie?" This and more is broken down in the informative intro, the appetizer if you will to two great interviews with our guests. 

The shepherds take a personal time out to welcome close friend, and fellow basketball team mate in the old guys' league, John Bennett.  Hernan and Bennett laugh about short people and bond over the life of super tall people.  Adam shows jealousy at just how incredibly tall Hernan is (in his head).  

Karl "Special K" Douglas is a stand up comedian and radio super star, amongst other titles you could find on his business card. The guys talk about Netflix algorithm pranking and ponder who follows funeral homes on social media.
