A mockumentary about a cynical YouTuber.
Pls Like is a weekly series follows struggling comedian Liam who, as an unlikely competition victor, must undertake a series of challenges in order to win a £10,000 prize.
With the help of established YouTubers Charlie South and Millipede, as well as Talent Manager James Wirm, Liam must undertake a series of challenges to see if he has what it takes to become the next big vlogger.
Series 2 sees Liam delving deeper into the increasingly strange and worrying world of vloggers. He revisits talent manager James Wirm who, after a particularly turbulent year, is at the forefront of attempts to restore the reputation of YouTubers - and salvage his business - with 'The Likeys', his newly created awards celebrating the positive role YouTubers play in the world.

This week we review - Zapped Series 2 Episode 1

Brian Weaver, an online data marketing assistant (even he doesn't know what that is) finds himself abruptly transported to a parallel world.
Fortunately, there's a pub. There he meets the owner, Herman (a former warrior) plus a handful of regulars: Barbara (a hopeless soothsayer), Steg (an armchair revolutionary) and Howell (a brain-fried Wizard).
Brian is desperate to get home, and his new acquaintances are no help at all.

Instead he finds himself being sucked into a world he doesn't understand, full of psychopathic Fairies, Shell Men, seductive Demi-Fins, vicious Throcks and the frighteningly unpredictable side-effects of Howell's magical powers.

It's even worse than being an online data marketing assistant.

  • 21 - The Walshes
This week we review - The Walshes Episode 1

The Walshes are a warm, tight-knit family from the West Dublin suburb of Strollinstown. But sometimes tight-knit is too much, and they're tripping over each other as the kids out-grow the family home.
Tony, head of the household, tells the sort of Dad jokes that most people would cross continents to avoid; his wife Carmel is the typical Irish Mammy, and they're parents to Ciara and Rory, both still living at home because the state of the Irish economy has forced them all back together.
Even Ciara's new boyfriend Graham is forced to move in and family friend Martin always seems to be hanging around mending bits and pieces - as well as accidentally becoming trapped in the wall cavity.
The script was developed by comedy group Diet Of Worms in collaboration with Graham Linehan. The characters are based on The Taste Of Home, a low-budget web series created by the comedy group in 2010.

Created & written by Graham Linehan & Diet Of Worms

  • 20 - Garth Marenghi's Dark Place
This week we review - Garth Marenghi's Darkplace Episode 1

Garth Marenghi's Darkplace is a British horror parody television series created for Channel 4 by Richard Ayoade and Matthew Holness.
The show focuses on fictional horror author Garth Marenghi (played by Holness) and his publisher Dean Learner (played by Ayoade), characters who originated in the Garth Marenghi's Fright Knight stage show.
Darkplace is presented as a lost classic: a television series produced in the 1980s, though only broadcast at the time. The presentation features commentary from many of the "original" cast, where characters such as Marenghi and Learner reflect on making the show.
Darkplace parodies the fashion, special effects, production gaffes, and music of low-budget '80s television.
It was broadcast in a late-night timeslot, with very little advertising, and met with poor viewing figures but nonetheless built up a significant internet following, leading Channel 4 to repeat the series and produce a DVD release.
The show was later broadcast in the United States on the Sci-Fi Channel and Adult Swim.

Created & written by Richard Ayoade & Matthew Holness

    Directed by Richard Ayoade

    Produced by Charlie Hanson

This week we review - Curb Your Enthusiasm Series 4 Episode 5

Larry David stars as an extreme fictionalized version of himself.
Like the real-life David, the character is well known in the entertainment industry as the co-creator and main co-writer of the highly successful sitcom Seinfeld.
For most of the series, the Larry David character is living a married-without-children life in Los Angeles with his wife, Cheryl (played by Cheryl Hines).
David's main confidant on the show is his manager, Jeff Greene (played by Curb executive producer Jeff Garlin), who has a temperamental and occasionally vulgar wife, Susie (Susie Essman).
A large portion of the show's many guest stars are celebrities and public figures, such as actors, comedians, sportspeople, and politicians, who play themselves.

    Created by Larry David

Sipping his Coke and chatting hyperactively, while they drink themselves into absurdity, Luke struggles, with excruciating awkwardness, to climb the macho pecking order.
