We've finally figured out a way to combine all of our interests into one episode! Animal poetry AND animal names that rhyme with each other? What more could you want?! In anticipation of National Poetry Day we've decided to do a little poetry and rhyming themed series! This week, we learn all about pudus and kudus, adorable deer (one big and one small) and read a lovely deer poem!

It's been a minute since we've had a good old fashioned animal artist segment, so we've remedied that! Julia Wernicke was a fantastic Argentine painter and engraver most known for her painting "Los Toritos" or Little Bulls. So, naturally we also thought we'd do a little bull mythology! If you have another animal artist we should cover, please reach out!

Happy New Year! We're manifesting, we're seizing, we're... we're auto-hemorrhaging when disturbed and waiting for the Spring Equinox to make any actual resolutions. It's 2025, the year of the snake, and we're talking wood snakes, working smart not hard and what we didn't know about the Chinese Zodiac! Plus, we have a wonderful Ready Pet Go from Amanda and Kit Kat!

It's our last episode of the year and what better way to wrap up 2024 and our Corvid Compendium with this, the Queen of the Corvids, the Magpie! We discuss superstition, nursery rhymes and learn that not all Magpies are the gothic babes we westerners might think of.

Thank you all so much for supporting us this year! We can't wait to yap like magpies with you some more in 2025!
