Comic Patrol Pod

Great Superman stories are difficult to come by - he's a hard character to write a compelling story for because his weaknesses are limited. Superman vs The Elite poses an interesting situation for Superman to mull over - one that has to do with his very core: his values. What happens, Superman, when the public begins to believe that you aren't enough?

Fucking dope, right?

It's our first big break!

The Weapons have a meeting with a studio to pitch their Gargoyles theatrical movie idea. Going through characters, casting, story and more, join us as we have psych ourselves up before heading into the meeting that could FINALLY bring this show to the big screen.

If you grew up in the 90's, and you somehow missed the existence of this show (which is highly doubtful), then you are missing out big time. Arguably the most underrated and beloved animated show of that era, the first 5 episodes were put out as a direct-to flick. We cover it here in our first official Bottle Cap Review.

Continuing on our Arc Analysis series with a new book today - unlike our usual banter about this and that, this episode focuses intently on the first story arc (issues #1 - 5) of Marvel's Hawkeye: My Life as a Weapon.

We summarize and spoil the story, dig into the characters, their motivations and even the artwork - issue by issue - to let you know all about the world. We hope you enjoy this episode of Arc Analysis.

The green machine, baby!

The Weapons throw it back with one of their very favourite properties ever: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. We discuss everything there is to do with the Turtels (except for video games, sadly) but shows, movies, comics - everything is in this show - it's your own stop Turtle stop (wax not included)

Hero Draft Season 1: Marvel Heroes, Round 1

Heroes range from cool to badass to cheesy. But these guys? This lot we touch on in this episode are downright out of left field.

And it's great. And you've never heard of them.. Probably. If you have, then you may replace one of us as co-host of this show, so long as you eff yourself first.

Oddballs assemble!
