For our landmark 50th episode we thought we'd go back to the 3rd installment of the Christopher Reeve Superman series. We also have joining us artist and friend of the show Mike Lee-Graham. We all had fond and nostalgic memories on this movie, but how does it stand up today?
You can find Mike on Twitter. And also check out his MMA comic Average Joe which he mentions at the end of the show.
And unfortunately for this show milestone, Loki the nordic god of mischief had cast a spell and forced it to start up as a musical!

In 2008, this Batman: Gotham Knight animated feature was billed as an anthology which would bridge the gap between Batman Begins and Dark Knight. Very much with an approach which was successful for the Animatrix, based on the Matrix franchise, the stories used various anime styles. But what did we make of this one?

Suicide Squad was a different type of superhero movie where criminals are forced to work under the government's control. The concept had a lot of promise and the movie had a bit more humour than recent DC efforts. But did this result in a better movie overall?
Joining us as a special guest we have Martine Johannesen-Berg who is a regular cosplayer on the London comic con scene. You can find here on Instagram here.

Eleven years before the 2005 Fantastic Four movie, there was a low budget project to make a movie which was never released, and it appears was never meant to be released. The Neue Constantin production company had held the rights to make the Fantastic Four movie for a decade but hadn't found the budget to make one, and the rights were going to revert back to Marvel. Roger Corman, a Producer who specialises in making low-budget movies, was brought on board and set about making a movie and as far as the who team were concerned, this could be their big break and set about trying to make the best movie they could. And after nearly a quarter of a century later, the movie has finally been released and is available online.

Spawn was huge in the 1990's, created by Todd McFarlane and first making his comics debut in 1992 as part of the Image Comics revolution. The Spawn movie was released in 1997 and after it's original R-rating, was toned down to a PG-13.
With much promise and hype around the movie, and also one of the first superhero movies to cast a black leading man, we take a walk through and see how this one stands up today.
