We had the pleasure of sitting down with former producer of the Bachelor and Bachelorette, and current TV host and correspondent of E! News, Rotten Tomatoes, the Dodgers, and I Don't Get It Podcast, Naz Perez.

Naz is definitely a wonderful human. She has an ability to touch many without really knowing her immense impact! Recovering from her own experience with heartbreak, she founded Heart Broken Anonymous, a free support group that offers a safe space for people from all walks of life to connect and heal from life's hardships. As she describes it, we are living in an epidemic of loneliness, yearning for connection in a digital world, and she is the mediator bringing people closer together. 

From loneliness, heartbreak, perfectionism, and having the perseverance and courage to take the plunge, both in her career and in love, we learned so much from Naz and can't wait to share this conversation with you!

Homelessness has always and continued to be an issue or a crises depending upon which side of the street you're standing on. We sat down with Jane Shapiro from Your DC Friends and had a very candid discussion about how she connected with her new friends on the streets and  how this experience has filled a void in her own life. This occurrence has perpetuated her to continue not only with this mission of giving, but also truly being on the receiving end of the experience.

Mindfulness is a mental state achieved by focusing one's awareness on the present moment, while calmly acknowledging and accepting one's feelings, thoughts, and sensations. We had the honor to sit down and speak with Sasha Whitney, who is a DMV native, indoor cycling instructor, mindful meditation leader, and podcaster. 

Sasha has been vocal about the changes that need to be made to make fitness and wellness inclusive and welcoming places for all regardless of color, body size, and ability. As a leader in her community, she's passionate about creating a bigger table and empowering women to find their voice to change the spaces they are in. 

Ultimately, Sasha's goal is for everyone to lead a life of intention, love, and feeling free to come as they are knowing there is space for them on and off the bike!
