Superman has returned to the movies, so we thought it was a perfect time to revisit 2006's SUPERMAN RETURNS! The Bryan Singer-directed superhero sequel was meant to revitalize the Man of Steel's movie fortunes in the mid-aughts, but it failed to take flight, leading to nearly two decades of studio indecision.
