🔧 This episode features Matt Showers, or HVAC_Grammarian on Instagram, and his journey into the trades. Matt's journey into the trades was a lot like everyone else's. He went to a school for a program on HVAC and quickly began working in the residential field. He was super green but didn't give up. 🌱 It wasn't the best experience, but he never gave up. 💪 He moved on and began doing residential and light commercial for the next 10 years. He gained a ton of knowledge and experience before taking on a new challenge. 🎯 He recently changed over to working for a major manufacturer in the HVAC industry and regularly works on everything from small split systems to huge chillers. 🌬️ Recently, he has gotten trained and is tackling VRF systems. Matt enjoys a challenge and finds his career in the HVAC industry fulfilling and fun. 😊

Matt also hosts a podcast, Trade Therapy 🎙️, where he talks with people in the trades about issues people are not normally talking about on the job site. We've all been conditioned to believe that we are strong tradespeople and our emotions and problems are not important. So many people struggle in silence and there is help out there. 🤝 Take a listen to some of his episodes and you will soon realize that what you are going through is normal and there is help out there. We are not here to judge, but lift each other up and build this community. 🌟 I really appreciate what Matt is doing for the trades.
