Giordano welcomes Matt Brouillette, President and CEO of Commonwealth Partners Chamber of Entrepreneurs, back onto the Dom Giordano to break down the gubernatorial and senate primaries in Pennsylvania. First, Giordano asks about gubernatorial frontrunner Doug Mastriano, and whether Brouillette things the candidate has any shot against a very strong candidate in Josh Shapiro, with Giordano telling that he’s concerned that Mastriano will scare off a moderate vote. Then, Giordano and Brouillette discuss the potential for the other, more moderate candidates, to drop out and team up against Mastriano. Giordano suggests that somebody like Dave White withdrawing would bring more support for candidates like Lou Barletta or Bill McSwain, and vice-versa. Then, Dom and Matt flip over to the Senate side of things, telling of a negative favorability rating that Dr. Oz faces while he continues to surge as a frontrunner, with Brouillette and Giordano stressing the importance of winability in a general election.
