A dip in the jet stream mixed with abundant Gulf moisture will create severe thunderstorms, and a flash flood threat for the majority of the Southeast over the next week. Winter storm Lamont is currently dropping disappointing snowfall numbers for the Northeast, but they could get some action later in the week. Stay tuned for updates on this developing story.
