  • Storm Systems hit the Northwest/South throughout the week - National Weather Forecast
    A series of low pressure systems will bring rain/snow to the Northwest throughout the rest of the week. Two large troughs will move through the South bringing up to 1.5 inches of rainfall in some places. Moving into the weekend, there is a low pressure system that will hug the East Coast, possibly turning into a Nor’easter around Sunday night.

  • Winter Storm Moving Through the South - Short Range Forecast Jan 28-30
    Over the next few days, a low pressure system will be moving through the South from Texas to Florida. For most areas in the South, an inch or less of rain is possible, while areas farther north like Oklahoma and Kansas could see up to a foot of snow. This storm formed because of a large, strengthening trough, which has brought cool, arctic air into more southern locations creating the possibility of snowfall in states as far south as Texas.

  • Multiple Storm Systems Moving into Northwest and South - Today’s National Weather Forecast
    A series of low pressure systems and abundant moisture will bring rain and snow to the Northwest over the next few days. At the same time, a trough moves through the middle of the country bringing rain and snow to Texas and the Plains. The midwest could also see some lake effect snow throughout the coming week.

    5 Day National Forecast: Over the next few days, rain is likely throughout the Northwest, and parts of the South. Areas around the Great Lakes should see some snowfall, and there are numerous Winter Weather Advisories. Towards the end of the week, a major snowstorm will move into the Northeast. In this video, we will discuss the timing and severity for this incoming storm.
