Have you ever felt the urge to discover what your purpose in life is? Are you looking for answers that will help you understand why you are here and what difference you can make? If so, then you are not alone. In fact, it's something that many people have pondered throughout history. After spending years searching for my life's one purpose, I discovered something unexpected which changed the course of my journey.
Developing consistency requires building habits that make us feel rewarded and satisfied. To help in this process, it is important to break down bigger tasks into smaller, more achievable actions; by doing so we can encourage our brains to form new paths of consistency. Over the years, I have seen how difficult it can be for some people to maintain consistency when tackling new projects, so to address this challenge I typically recommend that they focus on creating achievable goals that will keep them motivated and engaged. In the What Happened To You series, explore how Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) gives partners an opportunity to explore, understand and develop a deeper understanding of one another from an approach that focuses on what has happened to each and creates a safe space for open communication. That “what happened to you”, rather than the hurtful and unhelpful “what’s wrong with you", perspective. This type of active listening and validation is really what sets the stage for creating a safe place for vulnerability and honesty, which can have profound effects on relationships and your sex life.

Connection Over Perfection,

It can be exhausting to carry the burden of difficult stories by ourselves. We often encounter criticisms, judgments, and guilt when talking about taboos, especially if we have experienced trauma. Unfortunately, these experiences lead to depression, anxiety and other mental health issues. To start healing, we need compassionate dialogue and supportive space to express our struggles. We need to switch the conversation from "what is wrong with you" to "what happened to you". Ultimately, having open conversations about taboo topics will make us feel less alone and foster meaningful helpful connection.

A wellness blueprint created from your individual DNA provides you with more advanced and tailored advice on how to best look after yourself and your health. A DNA Wellbeing Blueprint is a combination of an IgG and IgE test. By measuring the antibodies in your body that help you recognize and ward off potentially harmful substances, These tests can help you identify food sensitivities, intolerances, and allergies that may be causing you physical, mental, and even emotional discomfort. Knowing which foods to avoid or eat in moderation can improve digestive health and well-being. By understanding how your body responds to certain types of food, you can create an individualized nutrition plan tailored to your specific needs that fits into your lifestyle.

As a holistic nutrition professional, my philosophy is that health is an expression of the complex interaction between physical and chemical elements, mental and emotional aspects, and spiritual and environmental components. I believe in using education to improve people's health by treating each person as a unique individual. My protocols and advice are based on evidence-based principles and holistic practices, emphasizing active lifestyles, healthy eating habits, and detoxification. My goal is to keep people healthy rather than just managing symptoms or taking a one-size-fits-all approach to specific health concerns. I use a comprehensive analysis of my clients’ complete history, including diet, emotional well-being, exposure to environmental toxins, lifestyle habits, etc., to create a very personalized treatment plan and to help them manage a wide variety of health/mental/emotional, physical and relational concerns. My goal as a Nutritional therapist is to find the root cause and teach you tools to heal yourself.

When striving for perfection, it's easy to become overwhelmed with expectations that disconnect one from forming meaningful connections with others. Connection over perfection is a mantra that encourages us to prioritize relationships and connection over striving after unrealistic ideals of perfection.
