The Internet of Things is most definitely a major buzzword in the technology world. The concept seems like a lot to take in; machines talking to machines, every object connected to web, what to do with all that data. However, this shift in connectivity will leave huge opportunities for MSPs and the businesses that they serve.
On this episode of MSPradio, we chat with Steve Hilton, Co-Founder and Analyst at MachNation, to talk about the Internet of Things and how it will affect managed services providers in the future.
Patching is an incredibly important service that MSPs provide to their clients. In fact, it can even be used a differentiator between your services versus your competition. Practicing smart patching procedures will make you a more effective services provider and add value to your clients. On the contrary, ignoring these best practices can lead to a number of issues.
On this episode of MSPradio, we chat with Joel Kennedy, Director of Technical Account Management at Continuum and Shauna Peters, Technical Account Manager at Continuum, to discuss patching best practices and how MSPs can use them to improve their overall quality of service to their clients.

On this episode of MSPradio, we chat with Rich Akullian, Business Development Manager at Autotask, to talk about how MSP can be efficient and effective with their ticketing systems, and leverage them to grow their business and improve profitability.

On this episode of MSPradio, we chat with Jay McBain, Co-Founder of ChannelEyes and Francois Daumard, VP of Channels at Fiberlink, about the MDM opportunity for MSPs and how they can take advantage.
Are you forgetting about mobile device management? Tune in to this week’s episode to learn how to take advantage.

With the recent July 4th holiday, we’re taking a step back on MSPradio to pay tribute to our nation’s veterans. It’s not always easy for veterans to return home from service, yet they have many skills to offer their employers that universities alone simply can’t teach.
On this week’s episode of MSPradio, we speak with Brian Stann, CEO of Hire Heroes USA, an organization devoted to helping veterans find work and return back to a normal civilian life after serving. Brian, a veteran himself, tells us about some of the skills he learned while serving, and outlines some of the struggles veterans face when looking for civilian work.
Continuum recently sponsored a local Boston event called TechJam, where the city helped bring together local bands and local companies, ranging from small startups to large enterprises, to enjoy music, food, drinks and networking.
I had the chance to walk around the event and interview some of the interesting companies I met, which I compiled into a special radio episode. While we’ve focused on a number of business issues on the show, I thought it’d be fun to take a step back and do something different. Given that we’re all technology fans, I thought you’d enjoy hearing about some of Boston’s most innovative companies, so tune into this week’s episode of MSPradio!
