Banks today aren't great at innovation, but simply mimicry, because of Conway's Law - “Any organization that designs a system (defined broadly) will produce a design whose structure is a copy of the organization's communication structure. So, what changes in technology would be enough to change the way teams in banks are structured, and thereby the design of the products/services they offer? And does culture mirror technology or does technology mirror culture?
