Pastor Matt Grimm continues our series in Hebrews called “Greater Than…”, discussing chapter three verses one through six. With this passage and other scripture references we establish that Jesus is greater than Moses, and in fact Moses points to Jesus, who rules over all things, is strong enough to keep you in His hands, and nothing- or no one- can take you out of His hands.

The tapestry patterns are types of Shadow weaving. Shadow weaving is a technique that creates illusionary patterns, depth, and dimension by alternating light and dark yarn. The visual pattern emerges from how the light and dark threads interact; light follows dark, creating blocks that look like they are on different planes; one drawing out the other.
Our prayer is that interacting with the art of weaving would point you to the Master Weaver who has, for our benefit, woven together all the threads of the scripture to show us the greatness of Christ.

“Dear Lord, I long for your smile upon my life. So please open my heart to the meaning of the Beatitudes. I open myself to their light. Shine their rays into the deepest part of my life. Sear my soul. Heal me. Build the character of the kingdom in me, so that you can call me blessed. Amen.” - R. Kent Hughes
