The God we serve is a supernatural God. The Bible we read is a supernatural Book. If you take out the supernatural from the Bible, you don’t have a Bible. There's only one kind of Christianity on this planet – supernatural Christianity. You take out the supernatural from Christianity and you don’t have Christianity. It's time we bring back the supernatural in all that we do!

Many documents have changed the world and defined human civilisation. The Magna Carta of 1215 or the American Bill of Rights of 1791 often come to mind. But before any of these documents were written, perhaps the most defining code ever given to humankind was the 10 Commandments. These have often been ridiculed as irrelevant, arcane, and reduced to a mere set of 'shall not's'. The truth though, is that every society in the world today draws upon the timeless principles of the 10 Commandments. These 10 statements form the most comprehensive guide not just for a constructive society, but also for success in our individual endeavour.

In Matthew 7, Jesus warned that wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction and many go in by it. But narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it. What's that all about?

The narrow gate is designed by God to strip you of everything you once held close to – things that have kept you from your destiny. There are many things in life that hold us back – besetting sins, wrong company, bad habits, carnal desires, unholy hobbies, self-ambition, etc. that keep us outside the city. But if you want to enter, you've to go through the narrow gate, which means you've to let God peel off from you everything that keeps you in bondage. But inside, you're free, and you'll find life, abundantly.

One of the greatest needs in the Church today is the need for discernment. This lack of discernment is so appalling, it’s a travesty. It's the reason why so many Christians are falling into grave deception. I think Christians are some of the most gullible people in the world. We believe everything we read on social or mainstream media and we don’t stop to ask if it's true. And this has to stop. We've to grow in discernment.

The primary assumption on which the world’s economics is based is scarcity. Because resources are scarce, there's competition for them, hence creating demand and pricing. Yet if we believe that this world we live in is created by God and a reflection of Him, surely a limitless God of abundance would not create a world steeped in scarcity? What we need to realise is that the abundance that God has embedded into His creation needs to be unlocked, and there are specific keys that the Bible gives us that will release His abundance to us.
