Have you ever wondered how your physical health can impact your relationship?
I’ve had many counseling sessions with couples that have resulted in refering them to see their medical practitioner for underlying health issues that can impact mood and energy levels. By improving your wellness, you can regain the motivation and energy to improve your marriage as well.
That’s why I am excited for you to hear from my guest in this episode, Dr. Bhavesh Patel.
Dr. Patel is an expert in age management, functional medicine, and men's health. He is a board-certified physician who has been in clinical practice for over 18 years. He currently resides with his family in the Chicago area where he founded the Chicago Cenegenics practice.
In this episode, Dr. Patel explains some common issues he treats in his practice that could potentially be affecting YOUR health and relationship, so if you want to find out how improving your health could improve your marriage, tune in.

What happens when you let faith into your business?
I’m so excited to have Nicholas Bayerle on the podcast to talk to us all about his shift in business. This is an episode about being true to yourself and letting God in.
Nicholas realized that faith was a component that couldn’t be left out if he wanted to redefine what it means to be a modern-day businessman, so he is joining us to talk about why faith is the missing element in businesses.
Nicholas is the CEO of The Kings Brotherhood, the #1 community of Christian businessmen to achieve success without sacrifice. He went from missionary to building a multiple 7-figure business.
He's an international speaker, podcast host, and author of a best-selling book, and was featured in Forbes/Entrepreneur and rated top 30 under 30 influencers. He has also coached with some of the top businessmen and is passionate about seeing men prosper in health, business, and relationships by making God #1. Nicholas and his wife Amanda live in Austin with their 3-year-old son, Kingston.
If you’re hiding parts of your true self because you’re scared that people won’t want to work with you, you’re going to want to hear Nicholas’ story.

Where is your family heading for the holidays? To visit your family? Your husband’s family? Maybe you are hosting everyone at your house this year!
Whatever your plans are, discuss and negotiate them well before the holidays hit. Last-minute plans usually end up in a fight (at least they did for us).
I wish I could say Jon and I always had our family holiday plans figured out months in advance. I also wish I could say that we always agreed on them, but that would be a big fat lie. For many years of our marriage, things around the holidays caused a lot of stress and chaos in our families and between us as a couple.
This episode is here to help you navigate the holidays and prevent conflict as much as possible!

“Will you look after our kids if anything happens to us?”
You never expect it to actually happen, but what would you do if it did?
Jessye Wilden is joining us in this episode to share her story of finding love and joy after tragedy. She’s sharing what buoyed her when she felt like she was drowning and what she’s learned about surviving her own suffering and helping others through theirs.
Jessye Wilden lives with her husband, Ryan, and their children in the mountains of Northern California, where bears rattle the garbage cans and deer occasionally pose dramatically in the backyard. As a family, they are passionate about skiing, adventuring in their camping trailer, and dancing in the kitchen. Jessye continues to write and speak to groups using her unique perspective and exciting storytelling to help others hold onto goodness when life hurts most.
Jessye challenges audiences not to be defined by their worst moment, to boldly write names in color, to do brave things scared, and to choose to see God (even in pain) as adding to their lives.
You are going to love listening to Jessye’s inspiring story, so don’t miss it!

How do you react when you feel attacked? Do you panic and lash out, or do you stay grounded and true to yourself?
Living and acting with integrity when you feel scared or attacked is not an easy thing to get through, but when you know who you are you also know how to act in a way that is true to your values.
I’ve been dealing with this in a big way this year, and I realized that if I need to hear this, somebody else probably does too. I want you to know that you’re not alone.
The old me would have been extremely reactive and felt the need to attack back, but that’s not who I am anymore. By going through this process of rediscovering who I am and what my values are, I’ve learned how to handle difficult situations with integrity, and you can too.
If you find yourself being impulsive or reactive when you feel attacked and you want to change that, this is for you.

Every single one of us is affected by overwhelm, but some of us are more prone to it than others.
Have you ever heard of highly sensitive people? It’s a term used to describe people who are more sensitive to stimuli like sights and sounds as well as the needs and emotions of other people.
If you find yourself becoming easily overwhelmed by too much noise around you, a cluttered space, or the heavy emotions of a friend, you might be a highly sensitive person. We’re everywhere! But society isn’t really set up for us, so we have to figure out ways to protect our time and energy so that we aren’t constantly overwhelmed.
In this episode I’m talking about what overwhelm is, what causes it, and how it affects highly sensitive people differently from everyone else.
Whether you are a highly sensitive person or not, I guarantee someone in your life is, so it’s really important to understand and have more empathy for them. Tune in to get started!

Are you feeling burnt out after this year?
I think we are burned out in record numbers right now. I’m hearing stories of burnout from a lot of people around me and it got me thinking: what if that burnout is affecting our sleep?
The unfortunate truth is that burnout causes you to get less restful sleep, and the lack of sleep causes more burnout! In this episode, let’s talk about how to break that cycle.
I’m talking all about the relationship between burnout and sleep and giving you 6 ways to reset your sleep-wake cycle. I've been practicing these myself and I can promise you they work.
If you’re going to CEO like Jesus, this is something you need to know about. Tune in!

Have you ever considered that you and your partner might have different definitions of commitment?
It’s essential to understand what commitment means to your other half because if you don’t know their definition of commitment, how can you show them that you are committed to them? That’s why misunderstanding each other’s definitions of commitment can lead to conflict.
This episode is all about getting on the same page when it comes to commitment. We’re talking about responsibility, duty, devotion, and obligation, and how those things relate to commitment.
Are you ready? It’s time to get clear about commitment.

Could you be playing the damsel in distress in your relationship?
My husband, Jon, is joining us in this episode to talk about young love, the damsel in distress, the knight in shining armor, and the reality of relationships.
We’re talking about cultivating passion in a relationship and revisiting the early days of your relationship to remember why you fell in love. It can be easy to lose sight of the early days when you’ve been together for a long time, which means it can be easy to lose sight of the things you really love about each other too.
We’re also chatting about love languages and how important it is to know and accommodate your partner’s love language. We all want to feel loved, but it turns out that looks different for everyone!
Tune in to learn how to get the spark back and cultivate passion in your relationship.
