My guest today is Michael Witcoff, a.k.a. Brother Augustine. Michael is a Jewish convert to Orthodox Christianity as well as author of the best-seller, "On the Masons and Their Lies". He has had an interesting life, to say the least. He was raised in a Jewish family, basically an atheist, became a Mason, learned of some of the dark aspects of the Masons, was a part of the "pick up artist" community, and is now an Orthodox Christian and happily married. We discuss the various dimensions of his lifelong journey, including some of the evils that he discovered on his journey. Are the FreeMasons just a social club of beer-drinking older men? He has a piece he calls "The Foundationalist Manifesto", in which he charts out twelve pillars upon which to build our post-liberal society. My guests today are two people who are willing to step up and fight for what they believe in... for free! Rather than sit around and argue about abstract political issues, their positions within the LP, or theoretical utopias, they both just get up, get out, and do the hard work that is needed to help regular people fight tyranny. Joni McGary started a group to stop vaccine mandates on college campuses, and before she knew it, she was on Fox News multiple times, and her movement is currently gaining a lot of traction very quickly. Anthony Raimondo is a lawyer in Northern California, and during the lockdowns, he looked around and realized that nobody was helping these small business owners that decided they had to remain open. So he started representing them in court pro-bono and won just about every case he represented. He's now helping folks get vaccine exemptions. It's such a great conversation with two honest and hard-working people who want to do rather than just talk.
