Alrinthea Carter and Julia Washington joined Natalie back in December to do a deep dive on country music, Beyonce’s career, and their feelings about different tracks of Cowboy Carter. There will be discussion on the role black people played in creating country music, what themes of the female experience are prevalent in the songs, and how Beyonce has inspired us to make the type of art we want to make.
