Born in Utah and raised in Finland, Finny spent many hours of his childhood with his dad unsuccessfully hunting coyotes. But instead of discouraging him, those early life experiences fueled Finny to learn the game and become incredibly effective. As a guide with R&K Hunting in Utah, Finny sat down with me during a coyote hunt to explain how he uses dogs to draw in these smart, tough to kill animals. Hunting coyotes with dogs is the way to go, and surprisingly, most dogs who are in good shape and can come on command can learn to do the job.
