Coyote hunting is not for the faint of heart. You have to be persistent to experience success. Most people are turned off by the idea of hunting an animal for days, weeks, and months, never to even see one. But not Gene Wooster. Coyotes are not native to Eastern Carolina, but they arrived back in 2014. Since then, Gene and his buddy Owen have devoted an immeasurable amount of time learning how to coyote hunt. That first year, the two of them were hunting five nights a week and only managed to kill fewer than a dozen coyotes. But in the past 7 years, they have improved enough to have killed over 390 of these invasive predators. Join us as Gene walks me through the evolution of his coyote hunting techniques and gear upgrades.
