How many years are we going to allow this to keep happening? Why is Americans comfortable not addressing the elephant in the room? the elephant in the room has always been hate of some level. There's self-hate these kids hating them sells those kids hating other people because they are different and the way that we ignore it is a point fingers at other atrocities as if one is better or a bigger or more important than the other. And the reality is they are all important, but we're going to keep using peoples children's as pawns to lose their lives until we start addressing the hate that this country is built on. I did not want to have this episode it hasn't even been a full week since the grocery store is shooting and we have 21 people that lost their lives this week. Our jobs want us to act as though it's a regular day, people going to the grocery store now I have to double think I'm where they are and is this predominantly this with someone come attack me here. There will never be gun control in this country because people put money over morals. But I wanna talk about it, because I like addressing elephants in the room.

Lets go... Showing up for your kids is super important for both parents but most importantly dad's have to show up. When dads don't show up it plays out over and over again until your child is an adult, trying to have healthy adult relationships. Show up for your kids so they can learn how to shop for other people. Welcome to Cozy Womb podcast.

Fathers have a pivotal position in their Childs lives. We have to stop minimizing that position. No one likes a job have way done.You cannot half way raise a whole child that needs you. Do not show up in your childs life and leave. Let's chat, I really need fathers to be ready.

Time sometimes won't heal you. Time will swallow you up and not release you. Some kids get over the time you missed, and others shut out fathers. Grieving becomes a mental and emotional thing for kids. The bond that is cultivated becomes a new birth, accept the fact that the missed time was important.

Always remember that as a parent you are always needed. Im 34, and having a Dad to talk to you hang with would be very fulfilling. Im sure a lot of women spend time with men out of a loss feeling of not having their own dads around. So Dads you matter and even your grown sons need you. Never feel not needed, that's not true. Women cannot be fathers to your children.

Start with forgiveness... Just because you're ready for a relationship with your child doesn't mean your child is ready. I think dad's have to stay with them selves first do you forgive yourself for not being around? Do you understand what your child went through because you were not around?
