  • CLB 026: Human Design with Leticia Ringe - Just Be You
Welcome to Season 2 of the Create a Life that is Beautiful Podcast! In this episode, let's explore some tools to help you in showing up as yourself including human design, astrology, being seen and understanding the 3 different aspects to ourselves.
WHAT WOULD IT BE LIKE TO "JUST BE YOU"?
Getting to know ourselves can seem like such an overwhelming journey, especially when we've ben trying to be someone for so long. The journey begins when we start looking inwards - Who Am I? What do I like? What do I dislike? What do I desire?
Unless we know who we are there ain't much chance that we can show up to the world being who we are and we sure can't expect the people in our life to know. We need to ditch the people pleasing, trust ourselves and be okay with being seen.
"WE NEED TO UNDERSTAND WHO WE ARE BEFORE WE CAN SHOW UP IN THE WORLD BEING WHO WE ARE AND ALLOW OTHER PEOPLE TO SEE WHO WE ARE."
Today I'll be walking you through some exciting tools and concepts all on this topic! Including giving you the run down on HUMAN DESIGN. Human design has been one of my favourite tools recently to learn about and I think it is extremely valuable to helping us in aligning with our purpose & message.
I'll also be running you through some of the key take aways I had from my 1-1 session with Jess Lively about going beyond the mind! All of this will assist you in getting to know you! And that's what we like over here - anything to help us discover our own truth & purpose!

  • CLB 024 : Abby Lewtas - Reverse Culture Shock, Friendship & Finding Yourself Through Travel
We've all heard about culture shock, but what about reverse culture shock?!
Today on the Create a Life that is Beautiful Podcast, Leticia is speaking with Life Coach, Abby Lewtas from The Wanderlusters Mind Podcast about how she got to be doing the work she does today supporting travellers, adventurers and nomads through reverse culture shock when returning home after time abroad.
"TRAVEL IS LIKE GOING TO SCHOOL FOR LEARNING ABOUT YOU AND LEARNING ABOUT THE WORLD."
This is a real thing my friends! After time abroad we can tend to find that our friendships have changed, financial reserves have plummeted, we need to find a new job or start something new, we might feel a little uncomfortable, anxious, depressed or expect to ease right back into our old life but find we have changed so much that it's harder than we thought. These are all typical feelings experienced during reverse culture shock.
"EVERYTHING FELL INTO PLACE WHEN I STARTED TO MAKE THE PLAN, SO I KNEW IT WAS THE RIGHT DECISION."
Prior to this work, Abby spent 3 and a half years travelling through South America and then living in Canada before she returned home and went through her own experience of reverse culture shock. And before her time abroad, she worked in a regular 9-5 and also was an athlete. She went from being someone very much in her masculine and in a strict routine to travelling and reconnecting with her feminine energy and flow to working as a life coach.
“I WAS GOING TO MAKE IT UP AS I WENT AND THIS ALLOWED ME TO BE IN THIS FLOWING ENERGY.”
Abby's story is another beautiful example of the power of following your intuition and embracing your flow. Both topics we explore in Embrace Your Feminine Essence which opens for enrolment on Monday 25 June 2018. Find out more here.
IN THIS EPISODE, FIND OUT ABOUT:

  • CLB 023 : Clotilde Dusoulier - Food Blogging, Flow & Following Your Intuition
How do we know when we are quitting out of fear or quitting because it's the right thing to do?
Today on the Create a Life that is Beautiful Podcast, Leticia is speaking with Clotilde Dusoulier, the writer behind the food blog, Chocolate & Zucchini and the podcast, Change Ma Vie.
Clotilde began her working life in software engineering before deciding to pursue  food writing full time.  She began food blogging back in 2003 before it was the huge industry that it is today, so this decision seemed outwardly to be a real leap, however Clotilde knew it was the right decision for her.
“I JUST KNEW THAT THIS IS WHERE I WANTED TO GO.”
Clotilde has since written a number of books including her most recent one, Tasting Paris: 100 Recipes to Eat Like a Local.  And she has now through following her intuition again made the move into life coaching after establishing a popular development podcast for a French speaking audience.
"WHATS KEY IS HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT IT."
What is so interesting about Clotilde's journey is how she had unknowingly used the principles of flow, the law of attraction and her intuition to create the beautiful work she does today.
IN THIS EPISODE, FIND OUT ABOUT:

  • CLB 021 : Chris Raine - Hello Sunday Morning: A Movement Towards A Better Drinking Culture
How can I improve my relationship with alcohol?
Why would someone want to improve their relationship with alcohol?
How can I support the people in my life when it comes to having a healthy relationship with drugs & alcohol?
What might a better drinking culture look like?
What is running a non profit/charitable organisation like?
Today on the Create a Life that is Beautiful Podcast, Leticia is speaking with Chris Raine, the CEO and Founder of Hello Sunday Morning ("HSM"). HSM is an Australian based, world-wide charity/non-profit organisation helping people to improve their relationship with alcohol.
HSM was established in 2009 by Chris himself when he began a blog with the same name to share his experience giving up alcohol for a year. At this time, Chris was 22 years old living in the Sunshine Coast in Australia. He was working evenings as a night club promoter and during the day in advertising when the brief to quit alcohol for a year was presented to him.
Thinking the task before him would be quite easy, Chris was intrigued to find his relationship with alcohol ran much deeper than he thought and 8 months into the experiment he had discovered a purpose that ran much bigger than he could have ever imagined.
“WHAT'S MOST IMPORTANT ISN'T ABOUT THE DRUG, IT'S WHAT'S BEHIND THAT AND PROCESSING THE ANXIETIES AND STRESSES THAT OFTEN LEAD US TO USING IT IN EXCESS.”
Hello Sunday Morning today is a for purpose organisation servicing governments, individuals and corporates towards a better drinking culture. Rather than removing alcohol from society the aim of HSM is to provide people with more awareness as to the reasons why they are drinking so that they can make conscious choices around their consumption.
Their signature program Daybreak provides users with access to trained clinical psychologists with speciality experience in giving tips and strategies for alcohol. Anyone can access this program whether that be with the intention to limit, remove or simply reconsider their relationship with alcohol.
"OUR VISION IS A WORLD WHERE DRINKING IS AN INDIVIDUAL CHOICE, NOT AN EXPECTATION."
Chris explains in the episode that many of the people who go through their program will end up giving up alcohol for good or for extended periods, with himself a regular user of the program.
IN THIS EPISODE, FIND OUT ABOUT:
Chris’s experience removing alcohol for 12 months and since then his relationship/learnings and challenges with alcohol.
The journey of HSM and support offered for anyone wanting to reduce or remove their use.
