One of the first things we do when we experience trauma is escape from our body. My memories of trauma were as though I was a 3rd party, an onlooker, as though it didn’t happen to me, but to someone else. It’s a stress response designed to protect you. The problem is you haven’t got back into your body. In this episode we focus on ways you can get back into your body - the unhealthy vs the healthy.
At the end I explain exactly why you need to get into your body to heal your trauma.
