Boredom is often what drives people to be creative and productive, but with so much to entertain us these days, sometimes it’s harder to experience boredom and thus be creative. Even many of the toys created nowadays are more advanced and take away that bit of imagination that kids would otherwise have to do themselves. What you do as a parent will often influence what your kids do, like if you’re doing something that focuses on yourself, they will sense it and come bother you or want to be involved, but if you do something like house work for example where your focus is not on yourself, the kids will kind of mind their own business or keep themselves busy/entertained, knowing you’re available if they need you.
