There's so much I admire about this man I don't know where to start. Dexter Thomas has worked for the LA Times and is currently a correspondent at VICE News Tonight on HBO. If you've ever wondered what it's like behind the scenes of a news company this is the one for you. He was at the Williamsburg hotel for work and was kind enough to give me some time. He also bought me breakfast. We spoke for close to three hours and he said very nice things about me, none of which made it in the episode. What we do talk about are how he chooses the stories he pursues, BTS of a VICE story, and what it's like to interview Keenan Thompson from SNL. The interview with Dex starts around 4:18.
