There has long been a debate in the world of Credit Cards. Cash Back or Travel? Today, we will settle the debate once and for all. We will each present our arguments and opinions about Cash Back credit cards and if they are worth it for you. One thing is for sure, regardless of if you enjoy Cash Back Creidt Cards or Travel Points Credit Cards, you need to be mindful of oppertunity cost. If you are spending tens to hundreds of hours researching how to get increased cash back or 'free' travel, then it isn't really free. There is nothing inherently wrong with either, but not being aware of oppertunity cost can leave you worse than you started.

Almost any good credit card comes with a nice juicy signup bonus that can yield thousands of dollars of value. The only issue is that they often have high minimum spend requirements that can require one to spend upwards of $5,000 within only 3 months. For plenty of people, this leaves the choice of either not being able to reach the bonus or increasing spending which you normally would not do. Today we talk about the best ways that you can reach any credit card signup bonus without having to increase the amount of money leaving your pocket.

There are a lot of credit cards on the market, some good and some awful. Today we are going to disucuss why in our view airline credit cards often provide little benefit compared to their hotel credit card counter parts. Most airline credit cards charge a $95-$500 annual fee but provide benefits that are tough to use unless you either fly a large amount on the specific airline or spend a ton of money. For most people, hotel credit cards make much more sense to focus on given that their benefits can save you money even after just 1 or 2 nights in a hotel.
