Ronald Joseph Dominique, also known as The Bayou Strangler, he was an American serial killer and rapist who murdered at least 23 men and boys in the state of Louisiana between 1997 and 2006. Dominique's victims tended to be teenagers and men aged between 16 and 46, but not all of them were homosexual. Most of the victims were African-American. He often met them during walks or drives in his pickup truck, as well as in gay bars, luring them with offers of alcohol, drugs, housing, or group sex with his supposed girlfriend. After successfully convincing potential victims, Dominique would lure them to his trailer where he would overpower them, bind them, and subsequently rape them. According to the investigators, Dominique then strangled them, loaded their bodies into the back of his truck, and dumped them in remote rural areas in one of six nearby parishes.

Clinton Devon Nelson was last seen at approximately 8:30pm leaving a friend's residence in the vicinity of Ward Ln. and Hwy 80 in Princeton, LA. Clinton has a medical condition. Faint scars over right eyebrow onto eyelid, corner of right eye, right temple, and lower jaw line, scar on left collarbone. Accessories: Had wallet at time of disappearance. Has not been located. Clothing: Black "ECKO'' brand T-shirt, blue jeans, black knit cap, new black leather belt, white anklet socks with gray bottoms. Eyewear: Glasses with round silver wire frames. Footwear: New white "DC" athletic shoes with red trim. Was this a mysterious disappearance? Was Clinton Nelson a victim of foul play or did he go missing voluntarily?

When he was just 11 years old, Jody Plauché made headlines across America. He was a young boy in Jeffrey Doucet’s karate class. Jody Plauché saw his karate instructor as his “best friend.” Jody stayed quiet to avoid upsetting his parents or getting Doucet in trouble when Doucet started to abuse him. And when Doucet suggested they go to California, Plauché agreed to the plan. It was then that Gary Plauche sought revenge.

Was it the fire, suicide, or a planned..calculated brutual murder? In July 2017, Louisiana woman Nanette Krentel remains were found in a house fire. It had been two years that passed before anyone was arrested. That person, however, wasn't the murderer. Rather, a member of the investigating sheriff’s office Jerry Rogers Jr. His crime: criticizing the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office (STPSO) for its slow investigation of the case, which remains unsolved now for 5 years.

The Houma Police Department and the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office searched the areas of Bayou Terrebonne, as well as the Intracoastal Waterway for Ezekiel Harry. Police conducted interviews and suspected foul play to be involved.

Houma Police said they received a call in reference to the possible abduction of a 2-year-old near the 100 block of Mahler Street. The call came in on 07/12/2022.

During the investigation, Houma Police contacted the mother, who initially stated she was along Bayou Terrebonne with her kids when a subject in a gray truck passed, grabbed her child and departed the area. On September 23rd, 2022 at approximately 4:49 p.m. the Houma Police Department responded to the Liberty Street Bridge in reference to a child being thrown into Bayou Terrebonne from the Liberty Street Bridge. It was there that police discovered an 18 month old little boy was thrown into the bayou off of the bridge, with another child near the water and a third child left abandoned in a car. Junior was last seen playing outside in front of their home in the 100 block of Howard Road in Lisbon. His mother, Shelia Phillips, was inside and her boyfriend, Nicholas Gilbert, was working on his truck nearby. They told police they thought Junior was at his aunt’s house next door, but when they went to check, he was not there and he has not been seen since.
