Critical Elements Lithium Corporation is a junior mining company in the advance exploration stage. The company’s flagship project is the Rose Lithium-Tantalum project located in James-Bay, Quebec with a good geographic location, on-site access to infrastructures like powerline, roads, airport, railway access and camp.

The company vision is to become a large responsible supplier of Lithium to the flourishing energy storage and electric vehicle industry. They are keen to advance the high-purity Rose project as their first project but they also have 700km2 of highly prospective ground in an area that already has demonstrable Lithium mineralisation.

In 2017, they completed a robust feasibility study for the Rose project, specifically for Phase 1, the concentrator and mine and had those Capex and operating numbers confirmed in 2019. Phase 2 is the conversion plant that will convert the spodumene concentrate from the Rose project into Lithium hydroxide. 

The company has a very experienced management team and an excellent ESG track record with a strong relationship with first nations groups which was formalised in an agreement signed in 2019. They are looking for a strategic partner with experience and now the company has reached a market cap of over CAD$200M, they will have more options available to them. Decisions will be based on which is best to maximise shareholder value.

The focus now for Critical Elements Lithium is to get permitted. Once permitted and they finalise the valuation on Phase 2 and the detailed engineering of the project, they hope to start to see recognition from the market in a valuation re-rate as they achieve those catalysts. They aim to be in production in 2023 following a final investment decision during 2021 and allowing 2 years for project construction.
