Rob Schneider does not have a celebrated career in cinema, and that includes his ill-received baseball comedy THE BENCHWARMERS, which stars Schneider, Jon Heder and David Spade as full-grown dorks who play baseball against mean-spirited Little League teams to teach bullies a lesson. It may seem as though a movie with fart and booger jokes is a strange double-feature with Andres Muschietti’s adaptation of STEPHEN KING’S IT, but we found a way to make it work, by focusing on the different ways each film handles the impact of childhood trauma on the victims of bullying!
