Anne Forschner is an Exterior Design Manager at BMW. She has been involved in too many projects to mention. Most recently, she was the lead designer on the controversial and polarising M3. Anne is an absolute inspiration and a blue-print for anyone feeling like they don’t belong. Her message is simple: ‘Believe in yourself and question everything!’

ABOUT FLO: Florian is an Exterior Designer based in Munich. Upon graduation from Pforzheim University, he started working at JLR and held positions at both brands. He has had extensive OEM experience. He spent time working for an industry renowned consultancy, Makkina as well as doing Advanced Design work for Audi in their satellite studio in Munich. We did things a little differently this episode. I was sent through a list of questions from some students and the 3 of of us picked a few and gave our thoughts. I also recorded a cheesy intro, which has been requested numerous times. It was probably a bit long, but I did not have Claus on hand  to help and I still have no idea what I am doing. ABOUT JANKO: Janko is an Interior Designer based in Berlin. He has designed multiple showcar interiors, production interiors and even an interior for a car in Gran Turismo. He is not your typical petrol head. Initially he set out to do Graphic Design and switched lanes upon seeing some automotive students sketching cars and immediately was hooked. Janko is also a graffiti artist. The expressive style in his design sketches is heavily influenced by street art. He is not confined to the boxes that many automotive designers find themselves in. ABOUT LUKAS:

Lukas is an Exterior Car Designer based in Cannes, France.

 

He is a Stuttgart native and very well traveled. He has interned at multiple OEM's in both Interior and Exterior Design. It became apparent that he was exceptional at the latter and is currently in his 6th year as a professional Exterior Designer for one of the oldest and most prestigious Car Companies.

 

Lukas studied at the renowned Pforzheim University in Germany and he discussed openly about his time there as well as the application process and how much he struggled to get it. He also talked at about starting out in the industry and how he imagines the role of the designer evolving in the future.

 

Not one to be pigeon-holed, he expressed a desire to see design roles merging in the future and hoped that the business could evolve into having a more cross-disciplinary approach.

 

He is a keen photographer with a zest for travel and is an absolute gentleman.
