The Canadian Radio-Television & Telecommunications Commission...better known as the CRTC has directed foreign streamers like Netflix and Spotify to pay 5 per cent of their annual revenue to help support Canadian media and other content. But considering how Meta took the news when this direction was given to them, should we be excited or worried about this?
