Cassie, a popular high school student, was saving up for her first car. She was spending the weekend house sitting for her aunt and her boyfriend was going to come to visit. But they wouldn't be alone. Torey Adamcik and Brian Draper arrived and Cassie had no idea what they had in store. Inspired by their love of horror movies, school shootings, and serial killers, Torey and Brian were set on making a horror movie in real life. And Cassie was their target.

Video of the home movie and the interrogations along with case photos are on our Patreon page as a public post! You don't have to be a patron to see these.

Merris and Lillian talk about the...phallic history of the garden gnome statue and share three real life, terrifying gnome encounters from California to the UK.

The media fire storm around the Gabby Petito case was intense and opened the discussion up for how media bias influences what missing persons cases we're made aware of. Either directly or indirectly, the search for her and her killer, Brian Laundrie revealed the locations of nine other missing persons' remains. One one day, three bodies were found. These are their stories.

Beautiful, rich, kind and smart, Abby seemed to have the perfect life. She handled herself with grace and elegance and a soft spot for animals. Everyone seemed to love and admire her. She was close to her family, even her ex inlaws. So, it was a shock to the world when those closest to Abby betrayed her.

We're doing a new thing on Merris Mondays! Every so often we'll pick a state and highlight a cryptid, haunting, UFO incident or other weird thing! Please send your suggestions for YOUR state to [email protected]. This week we're going to Van Meter Iowa in 1903 where the town was plagued for five nights by a humanoid with giant, bat like wings, a beak with razor teeth, and a horn that emitted a bright light. Oh, and this guy stinks like horrible farts as well. LOVELY!

***Sorry for the delay. As per every retrograde, we had a technical issue with the audio and Producer Will was working a double and couldn't fix it until now. On top of that, Lillian's dog Bunny had to go to the emergency vet. She's not out of the woods but is much better. Thank you for being patient and for all the well wishes for little, sweet Bunny**

Mercedes had everything going for her, beauty, brains and ambition. She was a successful Instagram model and exotic dancer and worked with rappers like Drake, Megan Thee Stallion and Cardi B. Then, in 2021, like a lot of influencers, Mercedes dealt with a stalker. Unfortunately, he would end up taking her life.

Lots of new things in Lillian's shop! She needs all the help she can get paying the huge vet bills so use code PATRON at check out for 15 percent off https://wolvesandwine.fws.store/

Merecedes Moore amassed 2.5 million followers on Instagram and Onlyfans. But one fan became obsessed and took Mercedes’s life.

Apologies for the short description, Lillian had to take her dog to the emergency vet. This will be updated later today

Though she didn't have a large following, she was well on her way. Anna had everything going for her, beauty, loving parents, a boyfriend, medical school, and a growing instagram following. She also struggled with addiction. Her supportive mother offered to help her get treatment after Anna OD'd. Her response to her mother's help is shocking.
