Colleen decided to hitchhike to see a friend, something a lot of young people did in the 60's and 70's. She always trusted her gut and was known to turn down rides if she didn't feel safe. So when a young couple with a baby offered her a ride, she thought everything was fine. It wasn't. Colleen spent nearly eight years as the captive of a sadistic predator

What are they? Tiles. Tiles set into city streets and sidewalks all over North and South America. They have weird cryptic sayings about Jupiter and resurrecting the dead and are associated with 2001 A Space Odyssey. What does it all mean? We have no idea. Join us as we puzzle out the mystery of the Toynbee Tiles.

When Fukaso was only 9 years old she was abducted by a severely mentally ill man as she was walking home after a baseball game. Because of an error, this previous sex offender's name wasn't on the list and as a result, her case went cold. No one knew that Fukaso was in the bedroom, shut away and not allowed to leave, of Nobuyuki Sato. His own mother, who lived in the house, claimed that in the nine years he held Fukaso captive, she never heard the girl

At the age of 10, little Katie had already been through so much pain and abuse when she was abducted by a family friend and trusted member of the community. Katie, wise beyond her years, used her intelligence and cleverness to survive. Her story is simply amazing.

Maybe! It might not be, but Eureka Springs, Arkansas sure thinks it is. What's weirder than the people who live here, the UFO's, ghosts, cryptids and the mountain folk? Our history. Eureka was founded because of magic water. And then everyone died. And that's why we're haunted! Join us as we talk ghost stories, hauntings, strange places, and suggestive architecture!

Please heed the warnings on this one. I also discuss the stigma of csa.

Seven year old Steven Stayner was walking home from school on December 4th, 1972 when he was approached by a man handing out religious tracts. This man convinced little Steven to get into the car of Kenneth Parnell. Steven was held captive for seven years enduring horrific abuse. When Kenneth kidnapped another little boy when Steven was 14, Steven was determined to save that little boy. Unfortunately, this case has an unhappy ending and horrifying twist.

11 year old Jaycee made her way to the bus stop, wearing her favorite color, pink. She didn't know a car was following her.  Jaycee was kidnapped in broad daylight in front of her step father and other kids at the bus stop. She remained captive for nearly 18 years. Her story of strength and survival are nothing short of astounding.

In 1997, Ryan Reynolds (not Deadpool), adopted a parakeet he named Victor. Six months later, this lil budgie is spouting visions and prophecies with an astounding vocabulary. So astounding that Ryan started a religion about it. Or not.
