Cryptic Soup Pod

Welcome to Cryptic Soup. Join Thena and Kylee as they discuss the extremely brutal murder of young Jason Sweeney. Jason was murdered by his girlfriend, Justina Morely, and his own best friends, Edward Batzig, Dominec Coia, and Nicholas Coia. This might be the most graphic case we have covered yet, listener discretion is advised.

Welcome to Cryptic Soup. Join Thena and Kylee as they turn the conversation toward a famous case involving a former Olympian Athlete, Oscar Pistorius. Oscar murdered his girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp, on Valentine’s Day in 2013. Oscar was originally a person who many people looked up to, but did the fame get to his head and cause him to go crazy?

Welcome to Cryptic Soup. Join Thena and Kylee as they talk about the “Black Widow,” “Hell’s Belle,” the “Indiana Ogress,” the “Mistress of the Castle of Death,” aka Belle Gunness. Men kept showing up at the Gunness farm in hopes of love but would soon vanish to never be heard from again. Take a tip from me, don’t eat the bacon that comes from the Gunness Farm.

Welcome to Cryptic Soup. Join Thena and Kylee as the discussion of Baby DeOrr / DeOrr Kunz Jr / Little Man / Goobs takes as many wild spins as you can imagine. Who made breakfast? Where is the child? Who put the child in the car seat? You would think these would be simple questions...but are they? Well, unfortunately, they all lead up to an unknown answer and a missing child. Join CSP in on the conversation to try and solve this case. Would you consider this one a 411? We need answers!

Welcome to Cryptic Soup. Join Thena and Kylee as they discuss Unit 731. Unit 731 was a research unit for gruesome biological and chemical warfare of the Imperial Japanese Army during World War II. The events that happened, and how people were treated in this program were not only horrifying but also sickening. Seriously guys, it goes there, so here's your warning. This episode is heavy on abuse, rape, torture, and graphic scenes, so please be aware. If that is something you cannot handle, we understand and we'll see you for the next episode.

Welcome to Cryptic Soup. Join Thena and Kylee as they discuss one of the most famous cases of alien abduction to date. Betty, Barney, and their dog, Delsey were driving home one night, when they claimed that aliens abducted them. The aliens wiped their memory and potentially ran tests on them. These alien stories created by the Hills have gone on to shape many of the UFO stories we have heard over the years. Now we need to decide if this is a true story or a case of the crazies.

Welcome to Cryptic Soup. Join Thena and Kylee as they take on one of the most popular cases from the past 20 years. Jodi Arias was a young woman with the hell-bent idea that if she couldn’t be with Travis Alexander, then no one could. Jodi took a lot of pit stops into showing her true colors and ruining the lives of everyone involved. Talk about a tale of a crazy ex-girlfriend!

Welcome to Cryptic Soup. Join Thena and Kylee as they go through some different variations of the Mandela Effect, the concept of parallel universes, and how the mind creates memories. Sit down and get ready to have your mind blown by some of these classic memories...literally making you question everything you thought you remembered from your childhood; realizing what you actually remembered, was actually false memories.

Welcome to Cryptic Soup. Join Thena and Kylee as they talk about lots of things found "undah" the sea. Merfolk, Kraken, Leviathan, and Cthulhu are all picked apart in this episode as they try to figure out which of these creatures is real, and which might have just been a giant walrus that just happened to scare a few seamen.
