WHAT CSIS FOUND ABOUT CHINA'S INTERFERENCE IN CANADA'S 2021 ELECTION

Jane Brown is now joined by Charles Burton, a Senior Fellow at Macdonald-Laurier Institute and expert on Canada-China relations, Steven Chase, a Senior parliamentary reporter for The Globe and Mail and Dr. Stephanie Carvin, an Assistant Professor of International Affairs at Carleton University and an expert on national security issues.

In the news: The Globe and Mail broke the story late last week on CSIS documents revealing China's strategy of influencing Canada's 2021 election. It involved Chinese diplomats and their proxies making efforts to help the Liberals go back into power and working towards defeating Conservative politicians they feel have an unfriendly attitude towards China. Meanwhile, U.S. President made a surprise visit to Kyiv, Ukraine this morning. We discuss the implications of it all.
