Meditation Instructor Eric Weinberg continues our study of Chapter 3 of the book Cultivating True Compassion by Thrangu Rinpoche. The title of today’s talk is Training in Bodhichitta, Part 2: A Higher View. Moral discipline is the basis for all Buddhist cultivation, but great masters of the past joined that discipline with a higher view of reality as being the unity of emptiness and apperarance. Thrangu Rinpoche discusses the Vajrayana tradition’s view in general and the Mahamudra and Dzogchen views in particular.
