This week we are talking ALL THINGS CAL NEVA LODGE, RESORT & CASINO

The Cal Neva Resort & Casino has been a fixture on the North Shore of Lake Tahoe since it was first established in 1926. Right on the border between California and Nevada (hence the name), it offered both spectacular natural scenery and gaming, which was legal on the Nevada side. However, it was in the early 1960s when the lodge's fame skyrocketed after singer Frank Sinatra acquired the property.

Under Sinatra's ownership, the Cal Neva Lodge became a playground for the rich and famous. The Rat Pack – including Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., Peter Lawford, and Joey Bishop.  It wasn't just entertainers but also political figures like President John F. Kennedy who were known to stay at the lodge. This era imbued the property with an air of celebrity and political prestige.

One of the most enduring stories about the Cal Neva is that Marilyn Monroe spent her last weekend there before her untimely death in 1962. It is rumored that she had a rendezvous with the Kennedys and that the lodge's underground tunnels were used by high-profile guests to come and go unseen.

The glamour of the Cal Neva was overshadowed by its connections to organized crime. Sinatra's involvement with figures like Sam Giancana, a Chicago mob boss, eventually led to the loss of his gaming license and his departure from the lodge's operations. The lodge changed hands multiple times after Sinatra's exit, each owner struggling to recapture its lost luster.

Overall, the Cal Neva Lodge is the birthplace of several of the US's most notorious conspiracy..

We hope you enjoy and of course, HAVE THE DAY YOU DESERVE

Cheers,

Today! We talk about ALL THINGS Nostradamus!

Michel de Nostredame, better known as Nostradamus, was a French astrologer, apothecary,  mathematician, physician, and reputed seer from the 16th century. He is best known for his book "Les Prophéties" (The Prophecies), a collection of 942 cryptic, poetic quatrains believed by many to contain predictions about future events. Nostradamus' work has captivated the imagination of people for centuries due to its enigmatic style and the perception that it foretells significant historical occurrences.

In today's episode, we take a look back on Nostradamus' life and then events that led to his fame.  Following that, we go over several of his quatrain predictions and compare them to the real event.  Lastly, we look to the future at his future predictions and try (unsuccessfully) to figure out what they mean.  We even make a few predictions of our own.  We're MANIFESTING OVER HERE!

We hope you enjoy and we hope you HAVE THE DAY YOU DESERVE! 🔮🧿🪬

A rancher named Mac Brazel discovered unidentifiable debris scattered across his property. He reported this finding to the local sheriff, who in turn, informed the Roswell Army Air Field (RAAF). The military quickly secured the site and collected the debris, initially issuing a press release stating that a "flying disc" had been recovered.

However, the U.S. Army Air Forces quickly retracted the statement and claimed that the debris was from a weather balloon. This prompted widespread speculation and conspiracy theories suggesting a government cover-up of an extraterrestrial spacecraft crash.

The incident faded from public attention until the late 1970s when ufologists began presenting alleged witness testimonies and accusing the U.S. government of concealing the truth about extraterrestrial visitation. Many books, documentaries, and films have since explored various theories surrounding the Roswell Incident, including speculations about alien bodies being recovered from the crash site.

Despite numerous inquiries and investigations, both official and unofficial, the true nature of the Roswell Incident remains shrouded in mystery, making it a focal point for ongoing debates regarding UFOs and extraterrestrial life. The U.S. government's official stance is that the recovered debris was from a top-secret project called Project Mogul, which aimed to detect Soviet nuclear tests, and no evidence of alien spacecraft or bodies was found....

However, this explanation has not quelled the persistent belief in a cover-up among many UFO enthusiasts and conspiracy theorists.

Tune into this episode to get all the details and possibly theories surrounding the crash!

We can't wait for you to join us on this tale as old as the 1940's.

The diverse selection of songs, “Sympathy for the Devil,” “Zombie,” “Dear Mama,” “Bloody Sunday,” and “The Star-Spangled Banner,” paints a broad and multifaceted picture of human experience, history, and emotion, ranging from personal to societal levels.

“Sympathy for the Devil” by The Rolling Stones delves deep into the essence of evil and culpability. This unconventional narration serves as a metaphorical exploration of human nature, prompting listeners to reflect on personal responsibility, morality, and the inherent capacity for evil in humanity.

In a stark contrast, “Zombie” by The Cranberries, confronts the senseless violence and tragedy of war. Focusing on The Troubles in Northern Ireland, the song echoes the relentless pain experienced by those living in conflict zones.

Following is "Bloody Sunday" By U-2. Another song to tell the history of the Troubles but ultimately is a request for peace everywhere.

“Dear Mama” by 2Pac is a poignant ode to motherhood, capturing the rapper’s heartfelt appreciation and love for his mother, Afeni Shakur. The song explores themes of poverty, struggle, resilience, and unconditional love.

Finally, “The Star-Spangled Banner,” penned by Francis Scott Key during the War of 1812, stands as a patriotic symbol of American resilience and freedom.

Keep it real! Keep it rocking!

And have the day you deserve!!

Cheers,
Katie and Kelly

ALL THINGS LIBRA!  ♎️  Because it's LIBRA SZN!!!

Libra, symbolized by the scales, represents individuals born between September 23 and October 22. Known for their harmonious and diplomatic nature, Librans strive to maintain balance and peace in all areas of life. They are well-mannered and gracious, often making them pleasant company in social situations. This sign is highly social and outgoing, thriving on meaningful conversations and connections with others. Possessing a strong aesthetic sense, Librans are often drawn to the arts, displaying a high degree of creativity and a keen intellect. They are particularly noted for their fair-minded approach to life, showing an unbiased perspective and a willingness to listen to all sides of an argument.

However, Libra's strengths can sometimes manifest as weaknesses. Their ability to see every side of a situation often leaves them indecisive, leading to procrastination and a perceived lack of direction. The intense focus on balance and harmony can make Librans avoid conflict at all costs, sometimes compromising their own needs and values to maintain peace. While being social creatures, they can sometimes come off as detached or unemotional, especially when they are intensely focused on maintaining equilibrium.

Librans have a love for beauty and luxury which, at times, makes them prone to overindulgence in material pleasures. In environments they find un-stimulating or dull, they might appear lazy or lacking in discipline. Furthermore, in their quest to avoid confrontation and maintain harmonious relationships, some Librans might resort to manipulative behaviors, such as bending the truth or altering situations to keep the peace.

Overall, Librans are charming and intelligent individuals, characterized by their diplomatic and harmonious nature and their strong sense of justice and fairness. However, their desire for balance and peace can also lead to indecision, a reluctance to face confrontation, and sometimes a perception of detachment and manipulation. As with all zodiac signs, by acknowledging and working on these negative traits, Librans can leverage their positive ones to lead balanced and fulfilling lives.

We hope you all have the BEST LIBRA SZN!  In fact, have the Libra season you deserve!

Cheers!

Lockheed Martin and To The Stars Academy of Arts & Science (TTSA) are both American organizations deeply involved in aerospace research, albeit with different focuses and scopes. Lockheed Martin, headquartered in Bethesda, Maryland, is one of the world's largest defense contractors. Established in 1995, it specializes in the research, design, and manufacturing of advanced technology systems in areas like aircraft, missiles, and space exploration. On the other hand, TTSA, founded in 2017 by former Blink-182 guitarist Tom DeLonge and a team of experts, aims to explore lesser-understood scientific phenomena, including unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs) and consciousness studies.

Both organizations contribute to technological innovation in aerospace but differ significantly in their operations and goals. Lockheed Martin is a cornerstone of the U.S. defense industry, with deep-rooted ties to the government and military. TTSA is a newer, more unconventional player, focusing on public engagement and the dissemination of information related to fringe scientific phenomena. Despite their differences, both entities share an underlying interest in advancing our understanding of aerospace technologies and phenomena.

Tune into this week's episode as we discuss all the mysterious dealings surrounding Lockheed Martin & TTSA!

We can't wait for you to hear this tale.

Cheers!
